Airlines may not get the Boeing (NYSE: BA) Dreamliner on its new revised schedule after all. The plane has been delayed three times because of manufacturing and supplier glitches. If Boeing has problems with one of its unions it might have to push back the launch date again. Some airlines are already asking Boeing for compensation...

Correcting Gold and Oil What’s going on with gold and oil? Here’s what we know. Prices for both gold and oil were moving upward for most of the spring and well into summer. Then prices hit a peak. Gold touched $980 per ounce. Oil topped $146 per barrel. Now prices are falling. The slow death of the shelter magazine category continues with today's announcement by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. that Home will suspend publication after its October issue. This summer an eye-popping statistic was reported by several reporters and bloggers, including ones at the Associated Press, CNN.com, and WSJ.com. Here's the Chicago Tribune's version: More than 12,000 laptops are lost each week at U.S. airports, according to a study conducted for Dell by the Ponemon Institute, a research think tank.
